Q – Can I claim back the cost of the glass repair from my insurance company?
A – Yes. Your building insurance should cover this. Once the job is completed, you get a detailed invoice of the work we have done, which you pay on completion. Send that along with any other relevant paperwork to your insurers as part of your claim.
Q – I work funny hours. Is that a problem ?
A – Not at all. We understand sleep is important, especially to health care workers and those in the emergency services. We can do the work anytime to suit you. Even in the evening or at weekends. And all at the same price as our daytime rates.
Q – I’m a healthcare professional. Can I have a discount?
Absolutely. Healthcare professionals, members of the Emergency Services, those in the military and anyone having a Blue Light Card all benefit from an automatic 10% discount off everything we do, except with PVC doors and windows, where it’s 5% off. There is no minimum spend or time limit for this.
Q – How much will the job cost?
A – Difficult to answer without seeing the job. All quotes are free, and there is NO call out charge. If you can, take some rough measurements and use the Contact Us form to send over basic information for an initial quote. All quotes are ‘subject to view’. If you decide to go ahead, we will come round, measure up properly and then give you an exact price for the work. There are no hidden extras and no VAT. Once you say yes, we will process your order with our suppliers.
Q – How can I pay for the work when it’s done?
A – We accept cash, all major credit cards, BACS and PayPal payments. We are sorry, but we no longer take cheques. Not even good ones!
Q – Are you expensive?
A – We consider our prices very competitive. But there is absolutely nothing wrong in ringing round for prices. But please don’t get caught out though! Make sure the firms you ring are genuine, local and not a call centre simply farming the job out to a sub contractor, which will end up costing you a lot more.
Q – Do I get a discount on regular orders?
A – Yes. For business customers with multiple branches, we offer fixed price emergency boarding up, and glazing work with prices guaranteed for the current financial year.
Q – I need advice before I book a job with you, is there a charge for you coming to look?
A – No. We understand that not all jobs are urgent. You may simply need costings and advice for future projects. Our staff can will help with this. Ring anytime to discuss or to book an appointment.
Q – Do you offer payment by installments?
